Head to my contact page to tell me a little about your family and the session you're dreaming of. I can't wait to hear from you!
Once your contract and deposit are in, we're locked in! I'll send over outfit inspo, a location guide, and a short questionnaire to get to know your family before we meet.
Show up, be yourselves, and let me handle the rest. My job is to make you forget the camera is even there, and just enjoy being together.
Within 2-3 weeks you'll receive a link to your online gallery where you can view, download, share, and order prints.
Weather happens! If it looks like rain on the day of your photoshoot, we have two options:
1. We can reschedule-especially if kiddos are part of the shoot—to ensure everyone's comfort.
2. If the rain isn't too heavy, and the location permits, we can still move forward with the shoot.
Your comfort and satisfaction are my priority! If rain is in the forecast (or even if it shows up the morning of your shoot!), I’ll be in touch so we can make the decision that best suits you.
Absolutely! Provided that the location is dog-friendly, your pup is more than welcome to join the photoshoot. However, if there will be young children or babies involved in the shoot, I ask that you bring a friend for an extra set of hands to assist with holding the leash as needed.
To ensure the best lighting conditions, I try to schedule outdoor shoots during golden hour (about an hour before sunset) but sunrise is also great!
In-home shoots look best with natural light, so I recommend scheduling for morning/early afternoon.
Preparing your home for an indoor session can feel overwhelming, especially when you've just welcomed a newborn. A quick tidy of the areas we'll be shooting in is all you need - just a simple pickup of clutter or any personal items you'd prefer not to be in the photos is perfect. No deep cleaning required, I promise!
For a newborn session we'll typically start in the primary bedroom where we'll capture those quiet, intimate moments as a new family. From there we'll make our way to the nursery if you have one, and wrap up in the living room for some cozy couch snuggles.
The best time for a maternity photoshoot is typically between 28 and 34 weeks of pregnancy. During this period, your belly is beautifully round, but you’re still comfortable enough to move around and pose. If you’re expecting multiples or have any special considerations, we can discuss adjusting the timing to ensure you feel your best during the shoot.
Yes! Once your gallery is delivered you'll have the option to order professional prints and products directly through your gallery!
I hear this a lot and I totally get it! An overtired toddler can definitely feel like a recipe for disaster! Outdoor sessions are booked at golden hour which in summer and fall can mean a late evening. If early bedtimes are a firm boundary for your family, winter and spring sessions are a great solution since the sun sets much earlier and we can wrap up well before the witching hour hits. Just let me know your situation and we'll find what works!
